My 89 year old mother has lots of degeneration in her spine and finds applying heat is the most comforting thing she can do. I used to use heat packs alot which are great for about 5 minutes then loose their heat.
This gives me endless hours of continuous heat which helps my psoratic arthritis alot

I have chronic back and sciatic pain. For years I have essentially lived with a heat pack to help manage my pain. The heat packs were effective, but the biggest issue was how long the heat lasted. I was skeptical getting a heat mat, my concern was the mat wouldn't get hot enough, as I would have my heat packs almost to the point of burning for the most relief (and the longest time before having to reheat). The mat gets sufficiently hot for me at the highest setting, it's not scolding but because of the consistency of the heat, it is very effective, and I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't really used the lower settings but if you like your heatpack scolding, it'll likely for you and there are 5 lower settings if you don't. There are time settings (30, 60, 90, 120 mins), I will say I don't think the 2 hours is accurate, it seems to shut off before the 2-hour mark, but 1 hour is definitely accurate (I haven't used the used the other two settings). There are no annoying noises to indicate it has turned off, I just notice it is not as hot anymore. The main reason I didn't give it full stars is because I'd like it to have a little more weight to it. It is great when you are lying on it or you have it between your back and a chair but if I want to have it sitting on my leg or shoulders, it doesn't feel as hot. In my opinion, as someone with chronic pain, it is worth the money, and I honestly should have bought one sooner.

Addicted. I spent an inordinate amount of time on this heat pad. I had a couple of herniated discs and an annular tear. The relief that this bad boy brings…. Chefs kiss. It’s amazing after a rehab / physiotherapy session. I lay on it. I sit on it. And double use, for monthly period pain - absolute gold. Highly recommend.

My electric therapy heating pad is wonderful. I have been using wheat bags for years but this is so much better and more comfortable to use in bed. I also love the timer option. My only wish is that there was a 12 volt plug attachment to enable the heating pad to be used in a car.

The pass two years I’ve been in the depth of chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy . Whilst there are many many side affects, this heat pack has been an absolute godsend for the aches and pains of treatment. I suffer chronic pain fibromyalgia and many muscle myopathies. So I live with chronic pain 24/7 I also suggest PCOS and endometriosis and andometriosis also since my tubal ligation I have even more pain.
I've always used heat packs but your forever heating them up and they start to smell and wear out. So this is my new heat pack. Love it to bits especially when bed ridden. Will help with my up coming hysterectomy also.
I have a full blanket version that I use in winter on the couch.

I love this 'heat pack' and I can only suggest one improvement if its possible to do. Make it a weighted 'heat pack' so that you can get the full effects when lying on your side.

I am a nurse and I bought this for my grandmother who has been troubled with hip pain from bustitis and back pain from arthritis. She is 101 yrs old but still lives independently in her own home. She doesn’t take medication as it makes her dizzy so I bought your heat pad to give her some comfort and relief.
She is so happy with it. She wraps it around her back. It has given her relief. It is very safe as she can adjust the heat and has a timer if she falls asleep.

I had a full hysterectomy a week ago and my heat mat has been key for my recovery. While I was in hospital the nurses and Drs were impressed by this product saying how amazing it is for pain and recovery. Because it is plugged into electrical supply, it doesn’t need to be reheated. It is also light and doesn’t add weight to your sensitive areas. It’s large enough to cover my whole abdomen. It’s also handy to use in a chair/lounge when you have back pain. The control panel that is attached is easy to use. The staff at Pain Relief Australia have been very helpful and wanted the best for my recovery journey.
