gives herniation support but not comfortable to wear all day, in fact needs to be removed every 4 hours for some relief,this is partly due to the location and style that the support is worn. However it is a temporary fix whilst waiting for surgury. Surgeon did not comment as to its efficacy rather to say if it gives you security then good.
